Jensen Hughes partnered with SWENext to create our first-ever Fire Prevention Challenge to introduce girls to the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) community.
For this competition, we challenged high school students to create an e-poster and video that highlights the importance of fire safety in our community. Winners were selected based on their creative content, which highlighted the importance of scientifically accurate fire prevention and safety knowledge.
Jensen Hughes proudly announces the following winners...
12th Grade, Tennessee
12th Grade, Texas
SWENext is a way for girls to become a part of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) engineering community as students through the age of 18. SWENexters have access to programs, mentors, and resources designed to develop leadership skills and self-confidence to #BeThatEngineer and succeed in engineering and technology careers. Although the program focuses on girls, all students are encouraged to get involved.
Students interested in joining SWENext can find more information here. Use code "JHFIRE" at checkout.
